Data controller
The data controller is E.P.GJ. S.R.L., trading from Via della Volta 37, 25124 Brescia (BS), Italy — VAT and tax number 04221390984.
For anything concerning your data, write to info.epgj@gmail.com or call +39 327 358 6171.
What we collect
Data you give us: when you complete the form on the Contact page we collect your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, the subject and body of your message, and the vehicle reference when the enquiry starts from a listing.
Data collected automatically: when the form is submitted we record your IP address and browser, together with the date and time of your consent. This is what lets us demonstrate that consent was given and defend against automated submissions.
We do not collect special category data (Article 9 GDPR) and we carry out no automated profiling.
Why we process it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry and follow it up commercially: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations if the enquiry becomes a purchase (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To keep the site secure and prevent form abuse: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing the fields marked as required is necessary to receive a reply — without them we cannot contact you back.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
Data connected to a purchase is kept for 10 years, as Italian civil and tax law requires.
Consent records are kept for the duration of the processing and for five years afterwards, as evidence.
Who we share it with
Your data is handled by authorised dealership staff and by the suppliers running the site infrastructure and our e-mail, appointed as processors under Article 28 GDPR.
If you apply for financing, the data needed for the application is passed to the lender assessing it, which acts as an independent controller.
We never publish or sell your data.
Transfers outside the European Union
The map on the Contact page is loaded from Google's servers. Displaying it discloses your IP address to Google LLC, which may process it outside the European Union under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
No other transfer outside the EU takes place.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access to your data, and for its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 GDPR).
Where you have given consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Send requests to info.epgj@gmail.com; we answer within one month.
If you believe the processing breaches the Regulation you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
